John Francis

John Francis considers himself a Rolla native, having lived here for all but 15 years of his life.  He graduated from Rolla High School, attended both Missouri S&T in Rolla and MSU in Springfield; eventually graduating with a degree in Music from the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.

After spending several years teaching music in the public schools, John began his career at KMST in 1995 as producer of the popular nationally-syndicated program We're Science.  In 2002, he became Program Director of the station, and was named KMST's General Manager in January of 2015.
