Jim holds an undergraduate B.B.A. Degree from UMKC Block School of Business with additional core requirements in chemistry and genetics. Past experience includes 4 years of basic science research at Duke and Washington Universities and 10 years in marketing medical services and pharmaceuticals, most recently with Genzyme Genetics.
Jim moved to Rolla in 1999 and joined Public Radio KMST as the Station Relations Representative in February 2009; currently a member of the Rolla Lions Club. Jim regularly attends Chamber of Commerce meetings for both the Rolla and Waynesville Chambers and serves on the Board of Directors for Choices for People and Champions of Rolla Education; Past-Board member of Arts Rolla, Ozark Actors Theater, Whole Kids Outreach, and Your Community Health Center.
He is married with 4 children; two in M.D. Residency at Kansas City Children's Hospital, University Florida at Gainesville, one at University of Virginia and one at Columbia College.
